This is Kelly Guinan, founder of the Young Peacemakers Club and the PeaceMobile. I’m taking this time to tell you about a brand new interactive website launching next month, www.celebratingpeace.com .

This site will include many fun and educational activities for children and their families.

I’d like your help for one section of the site, the VISIONS OF PEACE ART COLLECTION ©. This is an online art gallery which features children’s artwork based around peace themes. If you know of a child who would like to create any type of art: drawing, painting, poem, song, simply instruct them to make the artwork based on the theme, “Peace is…..” and send a digital image to this email address. If you don’t have the ability to digitize the artwork, simply mail it to:

The child is encouraged to include his or her first name as well as the city, state, and country they are from. Inclusion of last names is discouraged. What fun it will be to visit www.celebratingpeace.com  next month and see their artwork in our cyberspace art gallery!

Also, if you have any pictures or short stories about your Young Peacemakers Club activities, please include them as the site will include an idea exchange for YPC.
