Brad Bryant
His district-level leadership roles have included: District President, Leadership Commissioner, Temple School Representative, Counselor to the District President, Communications director, and reunion class teacher. He also provides Shelby computer-system training for recorders at congregational, district and mission center levels. Brad, and his wife Donna, currently reside in Normal Illinois. They have 3 grown sons: Brendon, Adam, and Kevin. Brad is currently serving in missionary-focused roles, both in the Bloomington area, as well as in congregations around the Brush Creek USA Mission Center. He also currently serves as Communication Facilitator for the Brush Creek USA Mission Center, facilitating the Mission Center website and e-mail communications across our 28 congregations. He is certified to teach Temple School courses, a Registered Youth Worker, and a trained facilitator for Covenant Discipleship Groups. As a Seventy (missionary), Brad is also actively involved in exploring a number of internet-based outreach and ministry methods. See our "Online Church? Yes!" page for more details. Brad is active as a Disaster Services volunteer in the American Red Cross of the Heartland (Bloomington), where he is a Service Associate for: Mass Care, Client Casework, Material Support Services (Logistics), Disaster Assessment, Partner Services (Liaison), and Training. He teaches basic and advanced Disaster Preparedness and Response classes for new and existing volunteers. The Bloomington chapter recognized him with the 1999 Volunteer of the Year award, and he also received the 2002 Illinois State Excellence in Service (Disaster Services) Award. He also holds the Scouter's Key and Scoutmaster Training Award through the Boy Scouts of America. Brad has received the Pastoral Ministries Certificate from Temple School. By profession, Brad is an Account Support Manager for Hewlett-Packard Co. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Graceland University in Computer Science and Business Administration. Brad has served in several congregations, including: Jefferson City Missouri, Lamoni Iowa, and Bloomington Illinois. Beyond his "home congregations", Brad travels to offer minis try in other congregations, including: Saunemin IL, Champaign IL, Decatur IL, Georgetown IL, Martinsville IL, Pana IL, Taylorville IL, Springfield IL, Jacksonville IL, Beardstown IL, Sawyerville IL, Pekin IL, Centralia IL, Effingham IL, Eldorado IL, Massac Creek IL, Nauvoo IL, Stuttgart Germany, Enfield England, and Lowbanks Ontario Canada.
