Kristin Phillips Judd, a minister for
Community of Christ, serves the
church as the Canada and Pacific Field missionary coordinator. She holds
the priesthood office of president of seventy and is president of Quorum
9.
Kris has served in many areas of ministry, including pastoring a multicultural urban congregation, and working with children, youth, and women from disadvantaged situations. Born in Des Moines, Iowa, she received a bachelor of arts with a major in psychology from Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa. After graduating, she went on to obtain a specialist degree in school psychology from Iowa State University. |
Kris was a school psychologist in the Shawnee Mission, Kansas, school district. She also worked for the Heartland Area Education Agency in Johnston, Iowa.
Community of Christ has 250,000 members in more than 50 nations. The church’s mission is to “proclaim Jesus Christ and promote communities of joy, hope, love, and peace.”
