John M Etcheson

John Etcheson is a retired minister for the Community of Christ. Prior to retirement, his most recent assignment was Brush Creek USA Mission Center, president, 2003-2010. He holds the priesthood office of High Priest. Previously, he was a missionary specialist in Southeastern Illinois District. A native of Flora, Illinois, Etcheson has an associate’s degree from Graceland College followed by a bachelor’s degree in education from Central Missouri State. He has also had training in MBO seminars, leadership development, and time management.

Prior to accepting full-time ministry, Etcheson was a regional sales manager for PNV.net in Coral Springs, Florida. He has won awards in both sales and development. Etcheson has traveled in the United States. He also enjoys cycling, reading, walking, and hiking. He and his wife, Janet, have two children, Tim and Anne and two grandchildren, Taylor and Connor Etcheson.
