We offer an invitation...

You are invited to share in a week of fellowship, in the spirit of Jesus Christ, at reunion.  Come and worship with us, and allow this reunion week to bring into your life a greater and deeper understanding of how God's Spirit brings joy into your life.

We believe each of you have God-given gifts, and YOU are called to share them with others in the spirit of Jesus' life and ministry.  We invite you to join in the fellowship of one of our reunions.  Come and worship with us, learn with us, serve with us, have fun with us, and grow with us as we strive to follow the example of Jesus Christ.

Our relationship with Christ is enriched as we share in a reunion experience.  It is more than a mere gathering of people.  It is an opportunity to live together as a family for a week, bringing support and giving our love so everyone feels valued and appreciated.  We invite you to:

Come and See...

We invite you to attend either or both of the 2009 Brush Creek Reunions.  This will be an excellent opportunity for a time of renewal, celebration, worship, play, fun and learning.

We plan the program and activities of the reunions with the family in mind.  We want the reunion week to bring into your life, a greater and deeper understanding of Jesus Christ, and how the Christ relates to you on a daily basis.

Plan your vacation schedule now to include one or both reunions.  Come and share in a marvelous week that will empower, sustain and give purpose to your life as God's Spirit touches you and makes you new.

Plan to reserve a week this summer to gather with the Saints for a week of Zionic living -- a community of Joy, Hope, Love and Peace, as we learn, worship, fellowship, fish, play games and serve each other in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Registration:

Every person and family is required to register

Registration takes place by using the registration form, distributed with the January 2009 e-Bridges Newsletter.  If you missed a paper copy, then you will be able to download & print a copy by clicking the link above.

No phone registrations will be accepted.  Please complete all information requested on the form.  If you have a question, write it in the Comments section and the Registrar will contact you by phone or email to answer you.

Knowing the number of attendees and ages will help Reunion staff when preparing food and purchasing materials for classes.

Once the form is printed and completed, mail it along with your registration fees (see below!).  Please make your registration check payable to Community of Christ.

If you plan to attend both reunions, please complete and submit two registration forms.

Reunion Costs:

Both reunions for 2009 will be supported through generous giving.

  • Attendees will pay a registration fee of $10 per person, mailed in with the registration form.
  • Persons staying in air conditioned units or in personal trailers/RVs will pay a utility surcharge of $25 per unit (cabin, motel, RV, trailer) or $45 per unit for the lodge rooms, mailed in with the registration form (Note: this is a change from prior years!)

Our Reunions are supported through “generous giving”. We anticipate funds will come from the generosity of the people as they respond to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Through the week everyone will have the opportunity to contribute as generous disciples out of the bounty the Lord has provided. In this way, some families and individuals will be able to come and enjoy the rich fellowship experiences because of the generosity of others who can afford and are willing to give more than their share.

We hope to begin the week with a “first fruits offering” that will cover reunion expenses and then through the offerings at each of the evening services, receive additional funds for the needs of maintaining the campgrounds. Pledge cards will be available.

Several have inquired as to what is the cost per person attending a reunion. Meals, lodging, and other expenses would bring the cost to $225/per person.

Brush Creek Campground has plenty of space for everyone!  The new lodge building is completed.  We look forward to coming together in Zionic community with you this summer.  We anticipate a wonderful outpouring of God's Spirit.
